Illumination Dynamics is Moving

ID president, Carly Barber, is the first to welcome Mark.  "We are very excited to have Mark Rudge join us at Illumination Dynamics.  His excellent reputation, knowledge, first class customer service and technical support reflect our company philosophy of providing our rental clients with the best possible experience."

"Illumination Dynamics has big show experience and resources, while retaining our dedication to all aspects of customer support and quality," continues Barber.  "Moving into automated lighting was a natural step for us, because – as part of the ARRI Group –we strive to offer the newest and most advanced products.  We can now provide our core customers in the film, television, broadcast, and special event industries with all of their lighting requirements – both conventional and automated – along with the full-service support of generators, power distribution and grip equipment."

ID's first project with the new automated lights was for lighting designer, Oscar Dominguez, and gaffer, Darren Langer.  The event was Women in Film's 2005 Lucy + Crystal Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. In addition to conventional ARRI lighting, ID provided MAC 2000 Profile II and MAC 2000 Wash luminaires for the stage, controlled by a Whole Hog IPC Console.

“I am very pleased to be joining Illumination Dynamics – a company that has always impressed me with customer service that is second to none," says Rudge. "ID’s Automated Lighting will cater to the television, corporate, special event and motion picture industries by providing turnkey systems, including programmers and techs if required.  We have started from the ground up with all brand new gear.  Customer satisfaction is the key.  Both ARRI and ID are very supportive of this new venture and have committed to provide the best equipment and service possible.  With many of ID’s entertainment industry clients requiring automated lighting, this is a natural move for the company.”
